Download the latest version of Minpeon at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/minepeon/files/release/
All info about Minepeon : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137934.0
I downloaded version Minepeon 0.2.4 : MinePeon-0.2.4.img
Insert a SD card (I used a Sandisk SDHC Ultra 8GB class 4 15MB/s).
Open Terminal. List your devices
Filesystem 512-blocks Used Available Capacity iused ifree %iused Mounted on
//dev/disk1s1 15511808 4800 15507008 1% 0 0 100% /Volumes/SD
Unmount the SD Card
diskutil unmountdisk /dev/disk1
Unmount of all volumes on disk1 was successful
go to your download directory, on my macbook:
Transfer/make the Minepeon image to the SD-card
sudo dd if=MinePeon-0.2.4.img of=/dev/rdisk1 bs=1m
WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss
or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your
typing when using sudo. Type “man sudo” for more information.
To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.
Enter your (OSX) password and be patient, it’s buidling and copying the image to the SD-card. After some time you will see a message like this:
1886+0 records in
1886+0 records out
1977614336 bytes transferred in 164.969810 secs (11987735 bytes/sec)
this means all went succesful and we can eject the SD-card
diskutil eject /dev/disk1
Disk /dev/disk1 ejected
Now you pull out the SD-Card and put in your Raspberry Pi and start it all up.
